Social Science - International Relations

Designed to complement teaching in the postgraduate International Relations learning circle, the Institute’ International Relations programme examines the changing character of international politics, describing how national governments interact with other states, international organisations and non-state actors. The program also examines the relationship between states and emerging social and religious movements. It also considers regional and global mechanisms for multilateral cooperation, as well as the implications of globalization on the relationship between the state and society in countries around the world.
