Independent Travel

Independent travel provides opportunities for students to explore on their own terms the countries we visit throughout the voyage. Staff members from the Port Program Office onboard are available to assist students in research and planning their independent travels. Exciting destinations and wonderful cultural events are typically in close proximity to each port, but there are also opportunities across the country that may require air travel and overnight stays. The cost of independent travel is not included in the program fee.
