When you book your place on The Scholar Ship’s ESL program you will receive detailed information about what you need to do before you join the ship, and advice about what to bring with you.

The pages in this area of the website are designed to give you the maximum amount of time to prepare for your Scholar Ship experience. You will find information about: 

• the medical check that you must do so that we know that it is safe for you to join us on board; 
• recommended packing lists to help you bring what you need – so that you don’t forget anything, but also that you don’t bring unnecessary things either; 
• the procedures that you will have to follow to join and leave the ship: when you can get on, and when you will have to get off.
