Honors Scholar Grants

The Scholar Ship is strongly committed to having a high-quality student population that is diverse, both culturally and socio-economically. To achieve this goal, we have created a general fund to help make the opportunity of a lifetime a reality for everyone interested and qualified to participate in The Scholar Ship program.

Students enrolled in bona-fide honors programs and colleges are eligible for 5000 USD grants, which cover a portion of the program fees, travel costs, and personal spending required to participate in the program.

Grants will be awarded to students with a demonstrated record of academic achievement and economic need. Students interested in becoming a candidate for a grant must complete a Letter of Interest, submit an Application for Admission, and present their academic transcript(s) (translated to English, if necessary) before the priority deadline below:

If you are accepted into the program through a conditional or definitive offer, the selection committee will conduct a telephone interview with you to conclude their consideration of your letter of interest for a grant.

Whether you are awarded a grant or not, you will be required to complete the admission process to successfully enroll in The Scholar Ship program, as outlined below:

1. Completed application for admission, including essay
2. Official academic transcript (sealed, original by post; translated to English, if necessary)
3. Completed Academic Reference form
4. Completed Academic and Disciplinary Status form
5. Evidence of English-language proficiency (if English is not your native language)
