Learning Resource Center

The Learning Resource Center onboard The Scholar Ship offers print and electronic resources necessary to support the academic program at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The majority of resources are housed on servers accessible from throughout the ship from a wireless network. A limited collection of reference books, text books, and journals is contained in the Learning Resource Center, which also houses workstations with satellite connectivity to the Internet.

Academic Support Center

The Academic Support Center offers an environment for the onboard staff to support both students and professors in the following areas:

• language-skills assistance
• study-skills coaching
• presentation-skills training
• assistance with interactive teaching and learning
